How do I complete or replace an electronic signature task with a paper signature?

Answer

When a signature task is created using an electronic signature service (DocuSign or EchoSign) but the signer needs to complete the task using a paper document and wet signature, follow the steps below:

  1. Update the paper signature document so it is an electronic image file (such as a .GIF or .PNG file).
  2. Click [Signature Task] > View Task Details.
  3. Click New Round.
  4. Select Manual Signature.

After you enter the necessary text and click Submit, you will be taken back to the tasks tab.

  1. Click [Signature Task] > Edit Task.
  2. Upload the image file that has the paper signature, and click OK.
  3. Click the [Signature Task] > Mark Complete.
