How do I complete or replace an electronic signature task with a paper signature?
When a signature task is created using an electronic signature service (DocuSign or EchoSign) but the signer needs to complete the task using a paper document and wet signature, follow the steps below:
- Update the paper signature document so it is an electronic image file (such as a .GIF or .PNG file).
- Click [Signature Task] > View Task Details.
- Click New Round.
- Select Manual Signature.
After you enter the necessary text and click Submit, you will be taken back to the tasks tab.
- Click [Signature Task] > Edit Task.
- Upload the image file that has the paper signature, and click OK.
- Click the [Signature Task] > Mark Complete.
