How do I run a scheduled task?

Answer

To run a scheduled task:

  1. Go to Site Manager > Scheduled Tasks.
  2. Click Run next to the scheduled task name.
  3. Click OK to run the scheduled task, or Cancel to return to the previous page.

The Status column displays the status of the scheduled task. To see detailed status information, click the link in this column.

You have access to run the following scheduled tasks manually in Ariba Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management solutions:
 

Scheduled Task Name Description
MigrateHideContentUntilAgreementAccepted Run this task to display event content to users who have recently accepted the event agreement.
MigrateSavingsFormCurrency

This task migrates currency fields for savings forms. This works differently for contract workspaces and sourcing projects:

  • Contract workspaces use the first non-null money field's value as the savings form's currency. If all money fields are empty, it uses your site's default currency.
  • Souring projects use the overall currency of the project for the savings form's currency.
Process Expired Delegations Use this task to remove expired delegations of authority and activate delegations that are ready to go into effect.
Schedule Pending Email Notifications This task sends email notifications for tasks, phases, and projects.
Update Contracts Status Run this task to update the status of contracts to Open when they become effective and to Closed when they expire.
Update Scorecard report-based KPIs Use this task to update the report-based key performance indicators (KPIs) in scorecards with the actual data values contained in the associated reports.
