The following error appears when uploading a catalog: Unable to determine type of content.

This error typically appears when field names in the CIF file are missing or incorrect.

Correct the missing or incorrect information in the catalog file, then reattempt to upload the file.

To get a copy of supported field names, download the template CIF file.

CIF template files can be location both in SAP Business Network and in SAP Ariba Buying.
