How do I run an individual data import task manually?

To run a data import task in your site:

1. Navigate to Manage > Core Administration (Manage > Administration in Ariba Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management Solutions).
2. Access the Site Manager > Data Import/Export section.
3. On the Import tab, find the individual data import task you want to run, and click Import.
4. Select the radio button for the data import operation you want to perform.
   
   The data import operation determines exactly how the data is imported. If a data import task does not support a particular data import operation, that operation is not available. The maximum number of objects that can be removed from the database at one time is 160,000; this setting cannot be changed. If this number is exceeded, a warning message is displayed.
   
5. For data import tasks that import translations, choose the language of the translation from the pull-down menu.
6. Click Browse to locate the appropriate comma-separated values (CSV) or Microsoft Excel file(s) on your computer.
7. Click Run and OK to import your data, or click Cancel to return to the previous page without importing your data.
