How do I allow suppliers to self-register?

Answer

Two parameters control supplier self-registration:
 

Parameter Description
Application.User.CanSupplierSelfRegister Enable this parameter to allow your suppliers to self-register.
Application.AOD.SupplierRegistrationLinkSetting

This parameter controls the behavior of the registration link on the supplier Login page. Choose from the following parameter settings:

  • Off (0): No link appears
  • Cloud (1): Creates an Ariba Supplier Network account
  • Full (2): Creates an Ariba Supplier Network account and establishes a relationship with your organization
  • Passive (3): Creates an Ariba Supplier Network account; does not establish a relationship, but it shows your Ariba Discovery profile link on the Ariba Sourcing home page
Additional Information

The parameter Application.User.CanSupplierSelfRegister  is configurable through Intelligent Configuration Manager. Contact one of your company's DSCs (Designated Support Contacts) for assistance in updating this parameter.

The parameter Application.AOD.SupplierRegistrationLinkSetting is only editable by SAP Ariba Customer Support. Have one of your company's DSCs contact support to update this parameter. 

These parameters only apply if you are using classic architecture of Supplier Information Performance Management.
