How do I use the catalog tester?

To test a catalog on Business Network:

1. Access your test account, either by clicking the Switch To Test ID option under the [user initials] in the top right if you are the administrator, or by logging in directly through https://supplier.ariba.com.
2. Navigate to the Catalogs > Customer Catalogs tab to display a list of all of your test catalogs.
3. Select the catalog that you want to test, and click Test.
4. Test the catalog:
   • For PunchOut catalogs: Click Customize Set > Preview > Send Request > Process Response, or simply click Shop.
   • For other catalog types: Select at least one item, and click Add to Cart, then click Submit Cart.

The following tips are useful for testing catalogs:

• Only the catalogs in your test account are visible.
• You can test catalogs before or after publishing them, but they must pass validation before testing them. The following error message displays if you attempt to test a catalog that has not been validated: Catalog cannot be deleted before validation is done. You can check the status later by refreshing this page.
• The catalog tester cannot test catalogs larger than 4 MB.
• You receive an error if you try to test a catalog in the following cases:
  • You did not specify a customer for the catalog.
  • The catalog is not in Published status.
