Why do the listed ARIBA internal administration user IDs appear in the system?
Symptom

Why do the following User Ids exists in the system? Can these User Ids be deactivated?

Resolution

The listed user Ids are out-of-the-box accounts of the SAP Ariba system, used by default, to help the administer and monitor customer sites. All of the listed groups must remain active. Please, do not attempt to deactivate them.

Note, there are no password credentials for these system default users and customers cannot access any of these profiles.

Aribaguestsystem

Specifies the guest user account, used during a supplier user's self-registration and password recovery. Guest users have a limited view of the user interface. They cannot see the Command Bar, Home button, or Logout button.

Aribasystem

Used as a default user in situations where there should be a user specified yet the Ariba system cannot confirm the real value. This name is used in the following situations:

These are reserved for the Customer Management Organization (CMO) team as they deploy. They use these accounts for development/customization purposes for the customer realm.

CustomerSupportAdmin

SAP Ariba Support teams use the customersupportadmin account to access all realms within our cloud solution. This advanced administrative system access is granted to SAP authorized members so they may support the system data centers and all subsequent realms within.
