How do I send messages to selected participants in an event? 

Why can't I send a message to an individual participant in an event?

To send a message to selected participants:

1. Click Compose Message.
2. Choose Selected Participants.
3. Select each participant.
4. Compose your message.
5. Click Send.

Your site's configuration may prevent you from choosing Selected Participants when composing an event message. If you would like to enable this option, have one of your company's Designated Support Contacts (DSCs) contact SAP Ariba Customer Support to enable the parameter Application.AQS.EnablePrivateMessaging.
