When I attempt to publish a Contract Workspace (CW), why does the contract status move to Pending instead of Publish?
- First, ensure that the Effective Date is in the past, and that the Expiration Date is in the future.
If the Effective Date is in the future, the CW will not move to Publish until the Effective Date is reached. - Next, if there are contract terms associated with the CW, check the status of the operational contract; the CW will not move to Publish until the associated operational contract is generated and in Open status.
- If Scheduled Tasks are executed from the backend, it may take some hours to reflect based on the established timelines, and subsequently, the CW progresses to the Publish state.
- If the conditions mentioned above do not function as expected, and you encounter issues, contact the Product Support team and raise a case via SAP For Me. They can assist in performing Repair Integration to address any problems or discrepancies.
