How do I update the currency conversion rates (exchange rates)?

To update the currency conversion rates in Ariba Procurement and Invoicing Solutions:

1. Click Manage > Core Administration
   • Manage > Administration for Ariba Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management Solutions
2. Click Site Manager > Data Import/Export
3. On the Export tab, locate the Export Currency Conversion Rates task
   • Export Currency Conversion Rates (CSV) for Ariba Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management Solutions 
4. Click Export next to this task, and save the file to your computer

Now you should add the new required conversion rates using a text-editing software program and save the file. After that:

1. On the Import tab, click Import next to the Import Currency Conversion Rates task
   • Import Currency Conversion Rates (CSV) for Ariba Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management Solutions 
2. Select the Update Only import operation type
3. Locate the file you downloaded and changed
4. Click Run

The following rows provide an example of an update to the EUR to USD exchange rate, effective December 1, 2014:

As a best practice, if you have an integrated site, always update the currency conversion rates in both Core Administration and Administration to make sure they remain synced.
