Is it possible to recover deleted projects?
Project deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. A warning message is displayed during the deletion process to confirm that the action is permanent. The warning message appears as follows:
Do you want to delete the project Workspace_Title?
WARNING: Project deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
The ability to delete a project is controlled by the parameter Application.ACM.ProjectDeleteLimited. If this parameter is set to Yes, project deletion is generally not allowed.
There are limited exceptions to this restriction:
If you have the Deleted Document Access permission, and you are listed as the original Project Owner of the document then you will be able to search for the deleted project using the following steps:
- Click the Magnifying glass icon > Select the appropriate Document Type.
- Click Options in the upper-right corner of the Search Filters.
- Select Search Deleted Documents.
- Search for the document by title or ID number.
To enable the parameter and provide the group access, Designated Support Contacts (DSC) can submit a Case and SAP Ariba Customer Support will enable the requested parameter.
