How do I update my company's D-U-N-S number?

SAP Business Network is integrated with Dun & Bradstreet so your DUNS number should be pulled automatically for you to review and approve. If the system finds matching DUNS records for your company, you will receive an alert in your profile to review the matches. Upon clicking the alert, you will be directed to the Edit Company Information page where you will be able to review the information pulled from the D&B database and either Accept or Decline to add it to your profile.

You can also manually add your DUNS number in the company profile by following the below steps:

1. Go to [user initials] > Company Profile.
2. Click the pencil icon to the right of your company name.
3. Fill out the DUNS Number field. If you aren't sure what your DUNS number is, click the Don't know your DUNS number? link and search for it.
4. Click Save.

If you need to edit or remove the existing DUNS number from your company profile, create a Case for SAP Support and include the DUNS number you want to remove and a replacement number if applicable.

You need to either have the Company Information permission or be the account administrator to review and update company profile information. If you can't access the Company Profile page, contact your account administrator. You can find their contact information by clicking the [user initials] in the upper-right corner of the application and selecting Contact Administrator.

A DUNS number may only be linked to one SAP Business Network account.

Please note that it is optional to enter a DUNS number into the company profile. You do not need a DUNS number to use SAP Ariba.
