Why can't I delete my project or Contract Workspace (CW)?

You may not be able to delete projects, including CW and events, for any of the following reasons:

For all projects:

• You aren't the owner of the project or a user with project owner capabilities
• The site parameter Application.ACM.ProjectDeleteLimited is set to Yes
  This setting prevents project owners from deleting projects
• The project is a subproject that wasn't created manually from the parent project's Documents tab's Actions menu
  You can't delete items inherited from a project's template
• Tasks within the project are Submitted or Completed

For Contract Workspaces:

• The workspace is Published or has been amended (non-test projects)
• The workspace is a parent agreement (non-test projects)
• The workspace contains a contract terms document in any status other than Not Created.

If you'd like to relax the default restrictions on project deletion, a Designated Support Contact (DSC) at your company can use your site's Intelligent Configuration Manager (ICM) to update the site parameter Application.ACM.ProjectDeleteLimited (Prevent project owners from deleting their projects).

Provided one of the other conditions that prevents deletion doesn't apply, setting Application.ACM.ProjectDeleteLimited to No allows project owners to delete the following types of workspaces:

• Published workspaces
• Amended workspaces
• Workspaces with submitted or completed tasks
