A buyer is able to access a supplier's PunchOut catalog but gets stuck on the initial page.
The buyer's Ariba procurement solution opens the PunchOut site in an IFrame, rather than in a new window. After reaching the supplier's URL, the site rejects the cookies, keeping the user on that page. In the supplier's PunchOut URL, the P3P is missing from the site header.
The P3P protocol allows websites to declare their intended use of information they collect about browsing users. This gives users more control of their personal information when browsing.
Suppliers need to restore the compact privacy policy (P3P) mapping policy in their PunchOut site. For example, if the third-party vendor inside an inline frame (IFrame) uses a cookie, they need to add a privacy policy to the response. Otherwise, the browser blocks the cookie.
