With this feature, the public access page for public sector procurement is created at the sourcing project level instead of at the event level. In addition to Status for Submissions, Procurement Status is added to the public access page, which corresponds to the status of the sourcing project.

This feature generates audit log entries when a notice in a public procurement event is submitted to the public sector portal, a status update for a public procurement notice is received from the public sector portal,  a public procurement event is published, a public access page is created or updated for a public sector guided sourcing full project, an Ariba Discovery posting is created or updated for a public sector guided sourcing full project and an event is submitted for publishing.

This feature enables users to publish public procurement notices to the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) portal using the new eForms standard. This feature also supports the following:

• Selecting the public sector portal to which you want to publish the notice

This feature extends the supplier anonymization functionality in guided sourcing to various pages and enables anonymization of various details such as supplier information, item participants, and comments.

  Enhancements to Supplier Search in Guided Sourcing [SS-44418]
This feature introduces additional supplier search and filtering options in guided sourcing instances that are integrated with SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance. The additional filtering options are integrated from SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance and appear in the Invite Suppliers page of guided sourcing events.

  Support for Preview Periods on Non-Competitive Events [SS-44921]
This feature gives template administrators to ability to configure templates which allow for preview periods in non-competitive events.

  Support for Email Bidding in Multi-Round Guided Sourcing Events [SS-45010]
This feature extends the support for email bidding to multi-round guided sourcing events. Email bidding enables buyers to allow suppliers to bid through email. Multi-round bidding enables buyers using guided sourcing to refine pricing and other information and add or remove participants and line items by creating additional bidding rounds in a single event. If guided sourcing events have email bidding and multi-round bidding features enabled, suppliers can submit their bids for multi-round events through email, without logging into the application.

  Prevent Project Owners from Discarding Supplier Bids in Guided Sourcing Events [SS-47061]
This feature enables template administrators to create guided sourcing event templates that prevent the buyer users from discarding supplier bids. This feature helps avoid potential loss of data by preventing buyers from inadvertently or otherwise discarding existing supplier bids while updating guided sourcing events.

  Disable Reply-To header field [SS-50729]
This feature disables (excludes) Reply-To fields in email message headers sent by SAP Ariba. Some buyer and supplier mail systems may block email messages with Reply-To fields. By disabling Reply-To fields, this feature may enable buyers and suppliers to receive previously blocked email sent from SAP Ariba.

This feature introduces changes to how category attribute hierarchy item definitions are automatically added to items in guided sourcing.

  Pagination and Search Support for the Supplier Tables on Draft and Monitoring Pages in Guided Sourcing Events [OPT-4286]
This feature enables pagination support to supplier tables that are available when you add or edit questions in the Questions, requirements, and attachments table on the draft page. Additionally, pagination support is enabled in supplier tables on the guided sourcing monitoring page. A search capability is also added to supplier tables on these pages.

  Pagination and Search Support for Suppliers Lists in Guided Sourcing Events [OPT-4322]
This feature enables pagination support and improves the search function in the supplier tables of guided sourcing events.

  Support for More Than 100 Suppliers in Select Reports in Guided Sourcing [OPT-5108]
This feature enhances the capability of reports in the Monitor and the Review Responses pages of guided sourcing to support more than 100 suppliers and enables buyers to download reports in the XLSX format. The export of bid comparison report is also optimized to support bids from more than 100 suppliers.

  Pagination and Search Support for Supplier Tables on Guided Sourcing Review Responses Page [OPT-5196]
This feature enables pagination and search support for supplier sections in the Items that need quotes and the Questions, requirements, and attachments tables on the guided sourcing Review Responses page. Suppliers are listed in batches of 10 records each.

  Ability to Link Existing Risk Engagement Projects to Guided Sourcing Events [SS-19984]
This feature enables buyers to link existing supplier risk engagement projects with guided sourcing events. This helps buyers establish seamless navigation between supplier risk engagement projects and the supplier card in guided sourcing events, irrespective of the state (Draft, Open, Pending Selection, Awarded, Completed) of the guided sourcing event.

  Display Category Management Opportunities on the For You Dashboard [SS-38425]
This feature enables buyers using SAP Ariba Sourcing and SAP Ariba Category Management to view Category Management opportunities from the For You dashboard. It also introduces the new Category Buyer Opportunity Analysis user group.

  Configuring Custom Menu in Guided Sourcing [SS-34972]
This feature enables template administrators to enable and configure custom actions menu options in the guided sourcing template. You can map the custom actions menu options to internal and external applications and specify the URL for accessing those applications. This enables buyers to seamlessly access internal and external applications by clicking the custom actions menu options in the guided sourcing user interface.

This feature adds support for using Total Spend, rather than Baseline Spend, to trigger an award approval task.

  Manage Sealed Bid Event Timing in Guided Sourcing [SS-35890]
This feature enables users from buyer organizations to choose between revealing bids and extending event duration for sealed bid events in guided sourcing when a sealed bid event reaches the review responses phase. This feature is available to users who have the newly introduced role, Manage Sealed Bids, and are members of the Category Buyer and Event Administrator user groups. This feature ensures that the suppliers get an equal opportunity to participate in the bidding if they were not able to bid due to system unavailability.

This feature allows event owners to control who can see various content elements in guided sourcing events. If event owners do not set any access control for content elements, they can be viewed by anyone who has access to the guided sourcing event.

Support matrix terms in guided sourcing events. Buyers use matrix terms to create copies of entries in an item table for items or lots, where each copy has a different value for the matrix term.

  Expedited Support Requests on Sourcing Auctions and Competitive RFPs [SS-40648]
This feature adds a new expedited support button, Request Immediate Assistance, to auction events and competitive RFPs. This button appears when the auction has one hour or less remaining for open bidding.

  Configuring Read-Only Terms in Guided Sourcing [SS-43516]
This feature enables template creators to mark one or more terms in guided sourcing event templates as read-only terms. Marking a term as read-only prevents users from editing the term in events. Template creators can also configure the item definitions in the guided sourcing template to indicate whether a read-only term in an event can be edited by the project owners.

  Enabling Show Options to Switch to Guided Sourcing on All Sites [SS-44822]
The ICM parameter Show Options to Switch to Guided Sourcing, which is currently disabled by default, will be enabled for all sites in the Q4 2023 release of SAP Ariba solutions.

  Disable Supplier Invitation in Guided Sourcing Events [SS-45723]
This feature allows template administrators to disable supplier invitation from the guided sourcing event templates. Disabling supplier invitation at the template level prevents buyer users from inviting suppliers to guided sourcing events from the user interface.

This feature introduces multiple changes to the guided sourcing user interface. You may want to communicate these changes to users in your organization. These changes are part of on-going user interface updates for SAP Ariba Sourcing.

  Ability to Mark Suppliers as Excluded in Guided Sourcing Events [ET-1490]
This feature enables buyers using guided sourcing to mark one or more suppliers as excluded suppliers at the event level. In an event in draft phase, buyers can mark suppliers as excluded or carry over the exclusion status when importing suppliers from a predecessor project. In a published event, buyers can mark or unmark suppliers as excluded and Configure the Bid Comparison report to filter, sort, or highlight the suppliers according to their exclusion status and View suppliers' exclusion status in the Supplier Response report user interface and scorecard page.
Note: This feature will not be available to customers until the 2306 Release.

  Ability to Include Product Questionnaire Responses in the Supplier Response Report [ET-1621]
This feature enables buyers using guided sourcing to include product questionnaire responses in the supplier response report PDF. This also enables public sector buyers to include the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) questionnaire responses in the supplier response report.

  Ability to View Supplier Ranking and Other Enhancements to the Bid Analysis Table View [OPT-4290]
This feature enables buyers to view supplier ranks based on the suppliers' bid values for each line item. You can view the supplier ranks in the Bid Analysis table view of the Awards scenario section. The sort and filter operations in the table view are improved. This feature also improves the pagination capability in the Bid Analysis table view.

  Support for Replicating Product Group Master Data from SAP S/4HANA Cloud Using SAP Master Data Integration [PLMDS-5641]
This feature introduces support for replicating product group master data into SAP Ariba applications from SAP S/4HANA Cloud using SAP Master Data Integration. In this release, support is available for the ProductGroup v5.0.0 master data object.

  Ability to Confirm Deletion of Predefined Terms in Sourcing [SS-29027]
A new confirmation dialog is added to warn buyers when they try to delete a predefined term from a sourcing request or sourcing project template in SAP Ariba Sourcing. A predefined term is deleted only after the buyer user confirms the delete action.

  Improved Grading Functionality in Guided Sourcing Events [SS-37684]
This feature introduces the following enhancements to the grading functionality in guided sourcing: Team graders can grade suppliers' alternative bids, and buyers can review and adjust the consensus grade of alternative bids. Buyers can specify if the external graders can see the participant identity or profile during the grading process to increase the level of objectivity and remove bias. Buyers can set each grader’s weight in an guided sourcing event. Buyers can prohibit the project owners from overriding the consensus grade.

  Ability to anonymize supplier information in guided sourcing events [SS-32247]
This feature enables buyers to configure the guided sourcing template to anonymize the supplier information in all pages, popups, dialog boxes, and reports for published RFPs, RFIs, and auctions until the events are closed for bidding. Attachments in the events are not accessible to buyers during bidding to protect bidders’ identities. This feature enables buyers to ensure regulatory compliance for events such as public sourcing events.

  Ability to Add an Approval Task for Event Timing Change [SS-34063]
This feature introduces an approval task, Approval for Timing Change, which enables buyers to assign approvers to review and approve or reject timing changes in guided sourcing events.

  Ability to Block Classic Sourcing Creation and Switch to the New Guided Sourcing Interface [SS-37006]
This feature provides the ability to block users from creating sourcing projects and sourcing requests through the classic SAP Ariba Sourcing interface and encourages users to switch to and experience the new guided sourcing interface.

  Ability to View Supplier Risk Information in Guided Sourcing Events [SS-38428]
This feature introduces support for viewing supplier risk information for guided sourcing events in draft, Monitor, and Review responses states. In the guided sourcing user interface, buyers can view suppliers' risk levels and scores in various categories. You can search suppliers based on the risk levels, such as high, medium, low, and unknown. Depending upon the supplier risk information, buyers can decide which suppliers to be invited to participate in the guided sourcing event.

This feature introduces the ability for buyer users to add items and content from sourcing requests directly into guided sourcing event sections.
