- What does customer need to do to enable purchase requisition (PR) push notification feature?
This feature is automatically on for all customers with the applicable solutions and is ready for immediate use.
- What events will trigger push notifications to approver with this feature?
Approvers receive notifications when requisition for approval assigned to them, requestor sends reminder (nudge), and requester withdraws a requisition.
- Does this feature also enable push notifications related to requisition for requesters?
Push notifications related to requisitions are not displayed to requesters. Requester notification feature is on the product roadmap, and will be delivered in the future.
- What is behavior when approver already logged into the app and working? Will they be notified about newly assigned requisition for approval/reminders/withdrawals, if any?
They will still see notification as banner at top of the app screen.
- Why am I not receiving push notifications on my mobile device even though I am expecting one?
- iOS: Go to the phone Settings app -> Procurement -> Notifications -> Enable ‘Allow Notifications’
- Android: Long press on the Procurement app icon and click the info ‘I’ link. On that settings screen, select Notifications and ensure ‘Show notifications’ is enabled.
- Is it possible to remind a particular approver with nudge notification?
Yes, requester can select up to 10 approvers to send reminder. This will trigger push notification to them if they are using SAP Ariba Procurement mobile app.
- What if approver wants to disable push notifications from SAP Ariba Procurement mobile app?
Approver can turn off notifications for the app from the mobile settings. Turning off only push notifications related to purchase requisition is not possible.
