Support for custom content in Web Assistant for product sourcing
Feature ID

DMS-15229

Feature Description

This feature enables buyers to add help content to the product sourcing user interface by using the custom content capability of the Web Assistant, powered by SAP Enable Now. To be able to add custom help content, you must have a valid license for SAP Enable Now and should have enabled the self-service parameter Application.AQS.EnableWebAssistantForGuidedSourcing for your site. You must also configure the self-service parameter Application.AQS.WebAssistantJSTemplate with the link to the JavaScript-based configuration template for the Web Assistant. The template also contains parameters that help you configure the look and feel of the Web Assistant. This feature also provides you access to recommended learnings through the Learning Center in the Web Assistant.

Customer Problem

Customers have been unable to create custom help content when using product sourcing. This limitation prevents them from crafting content that meets their organizations’ enablement needs, thereby limiting learning and user adoption.

Customer Value Proposition

With modern help systems, customers are given the capability to customize SAP Ariba help for their own organizations. With this SAP Enable Now feature, organizations will be now able to tailor and deliver training and help content specific for their organizations, thereby improving in-context learning in SAP Ariba products and enabling end users to successfully navigate and adopt the solution to improve their return on investment.
