This feature introduces support for lean service item data between SAP Ariba Sourcing and SAP S/4HANA Cloud through SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway.

In customer landscapes with the sourcing solution and ERP solutions integrated, demand can be captured in the ERP and channelled to sourcing system for negotiation. This was not possible to be made for 'Lean services'. This means customers had fragmented processes, depending on what is the type of service to be purchased.

Now, customers can also follow the same process for 'Lean services', streamlining the end to end process for them as well. This implies more spend captured in the eSourcing tool, more savings and faster cycle time.
