The following new fields are for including enrichment explanations in reporting and star schema exports:

• Enrichment Explanation: Added to the Invoice (Spend Visibility) fact table. Depending on the invoice enrichment method, this field can provide additional supporting information. For example, if the invoice enrichment method is based on a mapping, this field contains the name of the mapping file, such as account.csv. If the invoice enrichment method is based on an Enrichment Change Request, this field contains the rule ID.
• Supplier Enrichment Explanation: Added to the Supplier dimension. Depending on the supplier enrichment method, this field can provide additional supporting information. For example, automated matches from our supplier database indicate which fields had a strong influence on the match, for example: NAME ADDRESS CITY or STREET CITY STATE COUNTRY.

Note: We are rolling out the logic to populate these fields in phases. This first step expands the schema to make these fields available. It will take time for these fields to be populated.

Action required

If you export the star schema for the Supplier dimension or Invoice (Spend Visibility) fact table to synchronize your database with external systems, prepare your external system for the new fields.
