CP-7724: Documents from Ariba Network failed to reach the SAP Ariba solution
Fix ID: CP-7724
Previously, documents such as orders, invoices, and receipts failed to reach the SAP Ariba solution from Ariba Network. This issue occurred because of the long processing time taken to filter large records of Commodity Export Map Entry (CEME) data.
This issue has been fixed. Now, a new parameter named Application.Common.EnableCEMEFiltering has been created to determine whether or not CEME data must be filtered while documents received from Ariba Network are being processed in order to improve system performance. By default, this parameter is enabled for all customer sites.
Action required for sites integrated with PeopleSoft ERP
For sites integrated with PeopleSoft ERP, ensure that you have a customization to include a Business Unit field in the CommodityExportMapEntry class. Please contact SAP Ariba Customer Support for help with the customization.
SAP Ariba Customer Support configures the following:
- On the Field Configuration user interface in Ariba Administrator, search for the CommodityExportMapEntry class.
- Click Create Field > Normal Field.
- Type the name of the Label as BusinessUnit and choose the Type as Business Unit.
Note: The name you add for the Label field must be same as the corresponding Field Name value in the Requisition class. For example, if the Field Name value specified for the Business Unit field in the Requisition class is BusinessUnit, you must specify this value for the Label field while creating the new field in the CommodityExportMapEntry class.
- On the Advanced tab, select the CEME Filter Field option and click OK.
- Publish the customization.
