Previously, the purchasing unit field in flex master data (FMD) fields was used to automatically filter items by the purchasing unit (PU) of the requisition when the FMD was added on the accounting level. However, if the same FMD field was placed on the line or header level, the PU filtering did not occur automatically, and custom relation entries need to be created instead.

Now, this enhancement enables PU-based filtering to be applied to FMD files on the line and header level. This enhancement is available for the generic variant only.

Change Impact:

This enhancement is controlled by the new parameter Application.Common.FilterHeaderAndLineFMDFieldsByPUSGOnly, which enables the filtering of header and line-level FMD fields by PU.
